This is an opportunity to join a dynamic and progressive Growth and Development Division at Royal National Ear Nose Throat & Eastman Dental Hospital.
The role of a receptionist is an integral part of the multidisciplinary team working in a clinical setting. The post holder is required to welcome patients and visitors into the department, answering any queries and providing reassurance when needed. The Receptionist supports clinical colleagues in ensuring that the department runs smoothly and efficiently, dealing with complex operational issues that arise. The post holder will be required to work closely with other members of the administrative team and clinical teams, including managers, administrators, nursing and medical staff, allied health professionals and support workers.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and conscientious person to be part of a busy outpatient team providing administrative support to the clinical staff and patients.

Applicants should have experience working in a face-to-face customer focused role, working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and experience of working in a health care setting. However, if you have some of these criteria, and a clear desire to do the job, please apply.
You will need to have an attention for detail, exceptional organisational skills and good verbal and written communication skills. You will be a team player with a flexible approach to work in order to meet the demands of the department. Please note our clinic sessions operate from Monday to Friday – 0800 – 1630, 0845 – 1715 and 1100-1930 (Tuesday to Thursday). There is an expectation to work different shift patterns on a rotational basis to support the service.
