Receptionist - administrator
We are looking for a conscientious, enthusiastic, and happy person to join our busy reception team at our State of the art equine hospital just outside of Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. The is an office-based role within a small team working closely with your fellow colleagues and the veterinary, and nursing departments of the practice.
The main tasks will consist of:
· Telephone answering
· Booking appointments at the hospital and at client premises
· Organising and coordinating multiple online diaries
· Maintaining up to date computer records
· Meeting and greeting clients/visitors to the practice
· Dispensing of medications and prescriptions
· Processing and distribution of post and deliveries
· Dealing with accounts queries and processing payments
· Sales ledger and clinical notes inputting
What we would like from our successful candidate:
· Good equine knowledge is essential to prioritise customer calls
· Previous admin, customer service or reception experience
· A knowledge of Microsoft Office/365 or online diary management systems
· The ability to remain calm and empathetic under pressure
· Be able to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team
· The ability to prioritise workload
We are looking for a full-time member of the team but would consider flexible working hours for the right candidate. Full time hours of work alternate between Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm or 8.00am to 5.00pm. You are also required to work on a Saturday morning 8.30am-12.30pm on a rota shared with the other reception staff, with time in lieu given the following Friday.
