Receptionist (Fixed Term Contract)

Part Time - Forfar

What to expect

At Thorntons we build meaningful relationships. From the moment anyone picks up the phone or walks through our doors, we are there to support them with our expert legal advice. Our front-of-house team are the first point of contact and we pride ourselves on our warmth, professionalism and excellent client service.

  • Welcoming clients, colleagues and visitors to the office
  • Managing meeting room bookings
  • Answering and transferring phone calls
  • Preparing meeting and training rooms; managing refreshments where necessary
  • Helping to maintain workplace security by issuing security passes and maintaining visitor logs
  • Maintaining the front of house area
  • Where required, processing payments through our online payment system
  • Other general administrative duties, including sorting mail, as required

What we’re looking for

  • Previous cash handling experience will be an advantage but is not essential

Hours

  • Monday – Friday, 12.30 – 5pm, 22.5 hours per week.
  • * Requirement to work full-time hours to cover annual leave as required. Suitable notice given.
