The White Swan in the heart of the historic market town of Alnwick and only a stone’s throw from Alnwick Castle and Gardens, The White Swan is a charming 300 year old coaching inn that blends its unique heritage with superb accommodation and is also host to Weddings, Events and Tour Groups from all around the UK.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for a dynamic, hardworking, enthusiastic person to join our Reception team here at The White Swan. Flexibility is a must for our Receptionist as shifts are a mixture of morning shifts and evening shifts with weekends being considered a normal working day (on a rotational basis not every weekend). The Receptionist morning shift is 07:00am-15:00pm and our evening shift is 14:00pm-22:00pm but on the odd occasion our Receptionist may be required to work a 09:00am-17:00pm shift for example, on those busier days.
Receptionists play a vital role in delivering a great guest experience to all our guests. Receptionists have a keen eye for detail, an organised approach and a willingness to exceed our guest expectation. Often operating on the front line, Receptionists are the real ambassadors of our company, and are committed to consistently delivering high standards. Experience with Guestline systems would be ideal but full training will be given. Good rate of pay as well as gratuities. Work available all year round, up to 40 hours a week and is not just seasonal.
Rate of Pay: £9.73 - £10.42 per hour.(dependent on age)
