Spa Receptionist
The Vineyard is a 5* Hotel, Restaurant and Spa, we work to support, understand and respect each other and our guests whilst providing an excellent standard in everything we do.
We are currently recruiting for a Spa Receptionist to join our Spa team on a Full Time basis. We are looking for a dedicated Spa Receptionist who possesses great experience in customer service, a team player to join our small welcoming and hardworking Spa team.
Summary of role:
Under the guidance of the Spa Manager and within the limits of the Hotel Policies, ensure the maintenance of the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all aspects of the operation.
To deliver the highest standards of service required by both members and hotel guests. To be fully aware of all the services and facilities offered within the hotel and spa.
Main Responsibilities:
- Be able to book Spa Treatments and Spa Days
- To have good knowledge of all treatments, services available within the Hotel and Spa, and any promotions that may be on offer at the time.
- To ensure a warm friendly welcome to all clientele at all times with professional attitude, punctuality, smart appearance and giving the clientele the best service, and make the client feel looked after.
- Assisting with serving foods and drinks for spa days or residents.
- Complete daily opening, operating and closing shift.
- Taking payments and cashing up at the end of shift.
- To have full retail knowledge of products and prices charged.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the entire Spa in particular the changing rooms, toilets, showers and relax areas. These should be kept in a neat, tidy and sanitary manner in accordance with the Assistant Spa Manager and Health and Safety Standards.
- Transport, set up and maintain all linen supplies to spa area.
- To tour guests and spa days around the Spa and advise guests on the use of the facilities for their own safety.
- To participate in training and personal development programmes within the Hotel and Spa as required.
- To receive training to ensure that all-relevant legislation pertaining to the Health and Safety at work Law and Health and Hygiene standards are implemented and monitored within the Spa.
In order to be successful in this role as a Spa Receptionist, you will need to have great experience in customer facing roles, preferably within a 4/5* Hotel environment, you will need to be a competent swimmer and be over 18 years old.
