As a Receptionist, you will be the face of our vibrant and social establishment, playing a pivotal role in delivering impeccable guest experiences within an informal and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Communication:
- Embrace our tradition of warmth and professionalism, extending a heartfelt welcome to all guests upon arrival.
- Uphold the reputation of Pollen Street Social by delivering exceptional first impressions and a genuine hospitality experience.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of our menus, events, and services, providing accurate and engaging information to guests.
- Respond adeptly to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns, ensuring their needs are met beyond expectations.
Reservations:
- Demonstrate mastery in navigating our reservation system, skilfully managing bookings, and optimising table assignments to orchestrate a seamless dining experience.
- Collaborate closely with our restaurant team to synchronise reservation operations with overall guest service goals.
- Tackle challenges that may arise during guest visits with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset, working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver resolutions.
Skills & Experience
- Prior experience in a high-end restaurant or luxury hotel as a receptionist or in a similar guest-facing role. Familiarity with the specific demands of upscale dining establishments will be a significant asset.
- Clear and effective communication is essential, not only in interactions with guests but also with other staff members.
- Attention to detail and organisation that aligns with the Restaurant's commitment to excellence.
- Maintaining a professional and polished appearance.
