Job description
A full-time receptionist is required for a delightful, friendly private dental practice providing general dentistry as well as implants, sedation, endodontics and periodontics. The main duties are to work on reception booking appointments, taking payments, liasing with dentists and hygienists. The candidate must be happy to converse with all our patients, including an ability to manage the clinicians diaries with professionalism.
In addition to normal reception duties, the role will include marketing/administrative and include upholding CQC regulations. There will be administrative tasks such as setting up direct debit payments, reconciling invoices, maintaining payment records, communicating by email and letter. The candidate must be able to work under pressure whilst retaining a calm and courteous manner, carrying out requests from management as needed.
The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, willing to promote the practice with a keen eye for detail and willing to ‘go the extra mile’ and do any reasonable task within their capability.

Candidates should be cheerful, caring and efficient with good verbal and written communication skills. Five GCSEs grade C or above, including Maths and English language are required for the position.
