The Growth Company have a fantastic opportunity within the Justice Service team for a Receptionist/Administrator to support participants to engage and settle into their hub experience by welcoming them, providing information and hub introductions and by providing cover for the reception area as participants and visitors arrive.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the single point of contact at the hub for any participant; assisting with access and use of hub facilities, being welcoming, friendly and supportive
- Take ownership and responsibility of queries, issues and problems raised by participants in respect of utilising hub facilities
- Available as required to manage the reception area at the hub location
- Greet participants and visitors in a warm and professional manner
- Be aware of appointment bookings and group sessions that have been arranged locally to ensure participants are guided to the correct location
- Dealing with day-to-day responsibilities of office maintenance: post, booking of rooms and the processing of paperwork, diary management
- Keeping accurate records of all participant referrals and interactions on systems such as CATs+ and on manual paperwork
- Management, ordering and administration of petty cash, participant payments, vouchers, BACS payments, manager’s credit card, checking of invoices in line with Finance processes and procedures
About you
- Experience of working in an environment where there are participants with multiple barriers to progression, employment, training, and education would be an advantage
- A warm, approachable style is required in order to build relationships and rapport
- A willingness and desire to work in a busy environment
- Good working knowledge of all Microsoft packages
- Knowledge of administrative systems
- Flexible approach to work, including a willingness to work occasional unsociable hours
Skills Required
- Must have good customer service skills, good organisational skills and excellent IT skills
- The ability to work to challenging targets and key performance indicators
- Well-developed IT skills, including the understanding of computerised management information systems, spreadsheets, diary management and email
- Strong interpersonal skills to deal with participants effectively and professionally
- The ability to work under pressure in a highly performance-driven environment
- Willingness to undertake training as required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £21,000.00 per year
