The Bird, Bath
Full Time Bath, England 21840 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

Be a Receptionist but most importantly be you!

At our dazzling boutique hotel The Bird, near the centre of Bath we have a totally fabulous atmosphere. Colourful, with bold designs and statement artwork, we have fashioned a uniquely creative and lively work environment front and back of house.
Nestled within a quiet residential neighbourhood, we thrive on the peace and tranquillity being a stones throw from the city centre offers. Within these four walls however we have a vibrant little hot box of hospitality wonder. Whether our guests are dining in Plate, our colourful restaurant, or sleeping in a boutique bedroom it’s our team that really make the stay memorable.

At our hotel we want our people to be themselves and that means you. Join our team and here is what you’ll get for being yourself:

  • Monthly service payments as well as monthly pay
  • Work in a stimulating environment as part of a diverse community of people
  • Be part of a team who live and breathe our purpose
  • 28 days annual leave, pro rata for part time- use it and enjoy it
  • Cash savings benefits to make your monthly pay go further plus wellbeing support for you and your family
  • Free parking for team members
  • Discount on eating, drinking and sleeping at all of our properties
  • Flexible working hours - 9 to 5 doesn’t suit everyone
  • You'll be fed by our chefs when you're on duty – You’re part of the team
  • Discounts on local gyms and hospitality (and tattoos!)
  • Progression opportunities plus internal and external training – We’d like to invest in you
  • £500 refer a friend scheme

And there’s more where these came from…

What’s it like to work with us? Well, we are an imaginative, playful team who encourage each other to remain unconventional, no matter if you’re new to hospitality or if this is a lifelong career. Our diverse, inclusive community encourages a culture where you can be the you’est you, you can be; and that is what makes working in this hotel that little bit more exciting.

We stand behind being big hearted, respecting each other, our guests and the wider community. But our DNA? We are ALWAYS serious about giving our guests a bloody good time!

  • Show off your knowledge of our hotel and all it has to offer so you can help our guests and perhaps offer a little upsell too
