Receptionist
Murano St Student Village, Glasgow
£18,741 - £19,727 per year
35 hours per week
Both permanent and temporary positions available
We have an opportunity for a Receptionist to join our Operations team, based in Glasgow. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a fast-paced environment and completing admin based duties. You must be able to multitask, be computer literate and have experience of MS Office programs.
The role of Receptionist will include:
- Welcoming and greeting new arrivals and visitors on site and giving directions and advice when needed
- Providing a front-of-house service taking requests from residents and contractors in person/on the phone
- Handling queries and complaints via phone, email and at the front desk
- Auditing of open job lists and chasing attendance dates/updates
- Communicating with head office department regarding emergency and non-emergency jobs
- Preparing and organising events for residents on a regular basis
- Administrative tasks including filing, printing, scanning and updating spread sheets and different systems
Skills and experiences:
- Recent experience of undertaking a similar role
- Working knowledge of effective communication at all levels
- Experience of supporting the delivery of high quality accommodation or customer service
- Good communication skills and understanding of written and spoken English
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
