Job description

Rockliffe Hall is an AA-rated 5 red star resort in the north of England and is set within 375 acres outside the village of Hurworth, near Darlington in County Durham. We aim to provide an outstanding personalised service to each guest who stays, spas, golfs and dines and with us, acknowledging special occasions and making them memorable for all guests. We are currently seeking a Receptionist to join Team Rockliffe!

The Role

The main responsibilities of the Receptionist role will be (but not limited to):

  • Ensure all Revenue taken is reconciled correctly in line with company policy
  • Ensure a smooth and seamless arrival and departure for all guests
  • Deliver a tailored rooming to all guests checking in to the hotel
  • Assist and follow through on day to day general enquires, through use of telephone, e-mail and one to one communication.
  • Distribute appropriate and accurate reports to each department as required e.g. Arrivals and F&B Report
  • Take reservations for the resort accurately and courteously in the absence of the Resort Reservations Team
