Job description
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION
Provide quality service, administer lobby reception area, greet members/applicants, answer phones, address mortgage inquiries, sort and distribute mail and indirect applications. Order and maintain branch supplies.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Greet, screen members and direct to appropriate personnel.
- Manage Lobby Tracker, lobby traffic and rotation of team members.
- Address member inquiries on current mortgage programs as well servicing inquiries
- Manage, track, and assign online mortgage applications to appropriate loan officers.
- Manage, upload and assign faxes to appropriate personal.
- Make copies of documents provided by members/applicants and upload to the corresponding system.
- Ensure neatness of Real Estate lobby area, supply room and printer stations.
- Answer incoming calls and route to appropriate personnel.
- Ensure adequate office supplies are on hand, order as needed.
- Cross Sell Credit Union Services.
- Schedule FedEx Package pickup.
- Schedule cross training when requested by department managers.
- Follow current policies and procedures as set by the Board of Directors.
- Comply with financial industry rules and regulations as required by law.
- All other duties as assigned.

Supervise Approximately: None
Reports To: VP Mortgage Origination
Contacts: Frequent contact with real estate personnel and members.
EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED .
EXPERIENCE
- Previous clerical and customer service experience required.
- Mortgage or financial experience is preferred.
- Candidate may be subject to registry requirements through NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Frequent viewing of computer monitors, and writs/hand movement is inherent to the job, restricting to workstation for extended periods of time, standing or sitting. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision for frequent viewing of computer monitor, review of documents and greeting members. The ability to lift 25 lbs., ability to bend, stoop, and reach overhead required. Communication abilities required by the job includes clarity in speech and hearing for effective staff/member interaction
MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Most important to this position are accuracy, attention to detail, member relations, speed, initiative, reliability, and a demonstrated ability to engage in relationship building, a highly positive, service-oriented attitude while meeting productivity and profitability standards, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to anticipate member needs, initiate assistance, make recommendations of appropriate products/services and ask for the business.
EQUIPMENT SKILLS
Personal computer with windows environment, Microsoft office, copy machine, , telephone, calculator, and laser printer.
