Receptionist - Shift based to include evenings and weekends.
We are looking for a 26 to 30 hours a week receptionist that encompasses natural warmth and a welcoming manner. Articulate with reservations and administration duties, possess a ‘can do’ attitude and looks for the plus ones, to enhance the guest’s experience.
This is a hybrid role looking after the busy reception, but also assisting the restaurant servers when required. This is a great way to work across departments and gain experience in different aspects of hospitality in a busy hotel.
The part-time role is shift based, working 4 days out of 7 which will include evenings and weekends.Shift patterns 7am to 2.30pm or 2.30pm to 9pm
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks of a hotel receptionist, ensuring standards of procedures are met, good telephony skills are a must and a good level of numeracy for balancing payments is required.
With a lot of todays’ reservations coming via the internet, having a good understanding of IT, EPOS and PDQ machines will be required. Experience of a PMS system is advantageous but not essential
You will need to be calm and methodical and have a good understanding of the overall operational workings of the hotel. Your communication skills with your team will need to be on point, ensuring all guests needs are organised.
You will be passionate for being best in class and progressive about the future. Having a smart and presentable manner, you will love being the welcoming host of our venue.
