We are looking to for a friendly and dedicated Receptionist to join our amazing team. This is shared role, working alongside an experienced team of admin staff in the busy Cardiorespiratory Department.
Within our department and Trust, we have a patient centred attitude, striving to provide the best possible care and creating a positive and supportive environment within the Trust.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate basic IT skills, excellent communication, time management and interpersonal skills.
1. Provide reception cover and maintain the flow of patients within the department in conjunction with the clinical staff and manager.
2. Has the responsibility for referrals for investigations and entering appropriate data onto department databases.
3. Respond to patient enquiries and scheduling of appointments via telephone and by official correspondence.
4. The post holder will always remain professional and will liaise with other clinical teams and maintain good public relations on a one-to-one basis with the public and other interest groups.
5. They will communicate closely with other department personnel.
