Receptionist - Outwood Academy Ormesby
Start date: As soon as possible!
Working hours: 37 hours per week, term time only plus five days
Salary Range: Grade 2, SCP 3-4 (£17,962.03 - £18,287.40 per annum)
Outwood Academy Ormesby is seeking to appoint a Receptionist to start as soon as possible, with flexible options for part-time and job share to be considered.
Outwood Academy Ormesby is an 11-16 academy based in the North East of England in the friendly town of Middlesbrough. We are a welcoming and supportive academy, with a relentless determination to provide the very best education for every child. We place students at the centre of everything we do, with a focus on creating a culture of success and a positive climate for learning.
The successful candidate will join a very busy team providing whole school administrative support. The right candidate should be able to multi-task, work under pressure and be a strong communicator. The role is challenging and fast paced, so it is essential that the candidate has experience in a reception or customer service role!
Candidates should also have excellent communication skills, be organised and able to remain calm in a busy environment. Strong IT skills, specifically in Microsoft Office, are essential. You will be a team player, with confidence in communicating via phone, email and writing. Owing to the nature of the role, an ability to relate to the Academy’s students and prioritise their safeguarding is crucial.
