Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., a leading mid-tier investment bank, located in the Miami, Florida office is currently seeking a Receptionist. The receptionist is a key stakeholder in our primary goal of creating a world class experience for our guests. This position will be located in our guest conference center, and as such, will have responsibility for maintaining a professional environment that will create a differentiated experience for our visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet guests and employees
- Manage and book conference room requests
- Add visitors to building security website portal
- Arrange catering and maintain cleanliness in the conference rooms
- In-room technology support
- Oversee use of the space and escalate any issues to Management
- Assist the Business Management team as needed on recruiting efforts (i.e., help pre-screen candidates, schedule interviews, field questions regarding process, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Excellent work attendance record
- Proficient with computers
- Interface and articulate well with all levels of employees and clients in a highly professional and cheerful manner
- Ability to handle all situations with diplomacy
- Prior experience in hospitality is a plus
Requirements:
- Fluent in English and Spanish preferred
- Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office
