Our dedicated team believes in promoting a holistic approach towards mental health care. We specialize in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatments amongst other therapies and are seeking a Mental Health Receptionist to join our dynamic team.
Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced Mental Health Receptionist who can efficiently perform administrative tasks, manage client authorizations, and provide exceptional patient care. This candidate should have a keen interest and background in TMS, ready to support our team in providing this unique service.
Responsibilities:
- Welcoming patients, answering their inquiries, and directing them appropriately.
- Handling all patient authorizations efficiently.
- Managing patient scheduling, appointment confirmation, and follow-up.
- Maintaining patient records with the utmost confidentiality.
- Assisting in explaining TMS treatments and procedures to patients.
- Performing administrative tasks, including filing and handling patient paperwork.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals.
- Assisting in monitoring clinic supplies and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a receptionist, ideally within a mental health setting.
- Knowledge about insurance authorization procedures.
- Experience and interest in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) are highly desired.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with an empathetic understanding of patients' needs.
- Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of medical and psychological terminology.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and EHR systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in psychology or related field is a plus.
