We have a fantastic opportunity for a receptionist to join our team for 7.5hrs/week. We are looking for a self-motivated candidate who is able to work independently and as part of a team.

To provide an effective support to the Critical Care Unit to facilitate the smooth running of the unit under the supervision of Nurse in charge and the Ward Manager.
This role covers clerical duties , meeting and greeting patients, visitors and staff, the preparation, maintenance and the movement of patients notes around the Trust , keep the system up to date with admission, transfer and discharge.

- Answering phones and forwarding calls to the appropriate party, or taking down messages for forwarding later
- Collating detail for elective admissions.
- Printing the relevant paperwork.
- Ensure ECAMIS system is up to date with NOK details etc.
- Keeping the system up to date with Admission, Transfer and Discharge
- Ensuring that each patient has the proper documentation and has filed ready for transfer.
- Handling correspondence and file transfers
- Meeting and greeting visitors and keeping the visitors log up to date if approriate.
- Checking the ward account e mails and convey messages to the relevant team
- Stock checking and ordering all the necessary documentations needed for the ward
- Work closely with the shift co ordinator and offer clerical support through out the shift
