Job description
We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional standards and is keen in driving the business forward. The Front Office Team is responsible for first impressions, and this is very important for our guests. You will provide a warm welcome and be confident to answer any questions, as well as provide information about our hotel/hostel services, facilities and the local area.
You will be responsible for the look and feel of the reception space. You must ensure that the lobby, reception desk, and seating area are of excellent standards from tidiness and everything is in good working order. The best candidate will be a professional who has excellent communication skills and a comprehensive understanding of customer service, as well as positive energy and attitude towards our guests and staff members.
What will you be doing?
● Assisting guests during their stay and handling their queries.
● Inform guests about the hotels available services and facilities.
● Keeping the front office tidy, clean and organised at all times.
● Assisting our team with various administrative tasks.
● Receive and answer calls in a welcoming and professional manner.
● Handle distressed callers or guests in a calm and professional manner.
● Accepting any deliveries made to reception by couriers.
What we are looking for?
We are looking for someone who has experience in this role. Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm when working under pressure is essential for this role. You must have strong IT and multi-tasking skills. Demonstrate a positive outlook, outgoing personality, and high level of professionalism.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-25 per week
Salary: £8.00-£11.00 per hour
