Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic receptionist, keen to become part of our friendly family practice located in Tamworth or Fazeley branch.
We are seeking a caring, committed receptionist who will share our patient focused approach; we can accommodate both part and full time hours, alongside the other members in the reception and administration team.
Responsibilities:
- Answer telephone calls and greet patients and visitors
- Booking appointments and directing to appropriate services
- Undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the practice
- Receive and make telephone calls as required. Divert calls and take messages, ensuring accuracy of detail and prompt appropriate delivery.
- Administrating the waiting room and appropriate systems.
- New Patient Registration
- Management of repeat prescriptions
- Liaise with GP’s and Reception/Administrative Team
- Management of patient enquiries
- Undertake any other additional duties appropriate to the post as requested by the partners, or any member of the management team.
Person Specification
Experience
- GP reception experience
- Experience working on computers (EMIS clinical system)
- Microsoft Office package (Word, Outlook, Excel)
