Events and Marketing Assistant
Due to growth in our events and marketing, an exciting new opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated people person to join our company within our events and marketing team. With various projects throughout the year, no month is the same, so flexibility and the ability to manage different events at once is key. We are looking for someone who will be hands on with events throughout the year, communicate and engage with people and have a well-rounded knowledge of marketing to promote our farm shop, restaurant, events and weddings. This person will join our existing events and marketing team, working closely together with the team to promote increase footfall and sales on site.

Main responsibilities include:
- Assisting in developing and implementing diverse marketing strategies to develop brand positioning to maintain and promote footfall across all areas of the business
- Social media management, with experience using social media channels Instagram, Facebook, Meta Business Suite & Tik Tok.
- Graphic design skills with a strong focus with keeping on brand
- Engaging content writing for traditional and digital platforms to include website, blogs, social media, newsletters with attention to spelling and grammar
- Email marketing
- Basic website management & SEO optimisation (join together)
- Supporting the monitoring and evaluation of our marketing & events activity
- Responding efficiently and appropriately to customer comments/feedback
- PR and press release management
- Keeping up to date with new trends and platforms
- Attending regular meetings to present marketing plans for the future and report on past projects
- Operational assist with seasonal events and weddings throughout the year
- Meet potential wedding couples
Other preferred skills:
- The successful candidate should have a basic knowledge of software like, Mailchimp, Shopify, WordPress, Canva, Facebook Ads Manager etc.
- Previous social media/marketing experience and project management software proficiency.
Flexibility within this role is essential, hours must meet the needs of the business as and when needed to fit around the event calendar. The successful candidate must have weekend availability during busy event periods.
This position is salary paid based on 45 hours per week.
