Lake Regional Health System is looking for an outgoing, professional receptionist to join our clinic. This is a clerical position and will serve as the focal communication source for the clinic. The ideal candidate will promote a positive image through an efficient cooperative approach to all tasks. The candidate should have a professional approach, appearance, friendly smile, and a pleasant tone of voice. She/he should be able to operate as an active part of the team and use constructive problem-solving skills
Job Description:
- This role is responsible for greeting and directing patients, families, and visitors in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner
- Communicating patient care information to appropriate parties in a timely manner
- Maintaining the necessary forms and supplies required at the Reception area
- Answering telephones, directing calls, and taking detailed messages
- Acts as a communication link between the Provider, Nurse, and Clinic Manager
- Ensures current patient information is accurate by completion of information forms by patients, insurance cards copied, and co-pays and patient balances collected
- Promotes customer satisfaction through appropriate communication
- Coordination of patient care-related concerns and focus on patient needs and expectations
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- Excellent customer service skills and being a team player is a must.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Annual influenza vaccine and COVID vaccine are required.
