Receptionist – Part Time
London, Southwark, SE1
We are looking to recruit a part time, front of house receptionist for a modern warehouse style commercial office in Southwark. The building is within easy walking distance to Southwark tube, or main line stations at Waterloo & London Bridge.
You are an experienced professional with a warm personality to ‘own’ the reception and take pride in delivering a premium front of house reception service. You will support the off-site Building Manager and ensure a seamless handover with your job share.
Hours and Salary
8.30am – 6.00pm Thursday
8.30am – 5.30pm Friday
8.30am – 5.30pm Friday
Salary - £11,544
Key Responsibilities
Managing reception
- Warmly meeting, greeting and registering visitors to the building – following sign in protocols
- Efficiently manage post and courier’s
- Maintaining building process documents and local amenities file
- Ensuring excellent channels of communication between your job share
- Weekly reporting to key stakeholders
- General administration as required
The Building
- Taking pride in the appearance of the reception area and building
- Supporting the off-site Building Manager by recording and reporting any building issues and managing to resolution
- Pay particular attention to the security of the building
- Supporting the local letting agents by ensuring any vacant office space is kept pristine and assisting with preparation for any viewings
- Producing a weekly report for key stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with your job share to produce a monthly newsletter promoting initiatives and concierge services – helping to create a community vibe
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- A vibrant personality and a can-do attitude
- Enjoy delivering great customer service in a modern environment
- Ability to work independently and professionally at all times
- You must also have excellent communication skills and a confident, professional manner
- Mac/PC literate and proficient in Microsoft Office and related software packages
