Senior Class Assistant/Receptionist
Job description
Guiding students in their work and marking and recording work
Covering reception as required
Undertake other administrative tasks as required
Helping maintain a clean and safe working environment
Uphold policies, including, but not limited to safeguarding and risk assessments
Relate well to children from age 3 to 16
Maintain a professional relationship with parents and colleagues
Due to the advanced levels studied by our students, candidates must have a minimum GCSE grade C/6 in maths and English or equivalent and an A level in one of these subjects. Candidates will be asked to undertake an assessment in maths and English.
The successful applicant will be required to hold or undertake a DBS check
Hours of Work:
Tuesday to Thursday 15.30 to 18.45
Saturday 9.30 to 12.45
Additional hours as required, approximately fortnightly, or weekly in busy periods:
Saturday 13.15 to 17.30 (sometimes earlier)
Friday 15.00 to 18.30 (occasionally 20.00)
Candidates must be available for all these hours. There is the possibility of extra hours and more responsibility as the study centre grows.
Due to the nature of the job and interview times, interviews may commence before the advertised closing date.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 13-20 per week
Salary: £10.45-£11.00 per hour
