An independent Federally registered investment advisor firm is seeking a skilled Receptionist. The Receptionist role provides full support to our Advisors, who are licensed professionals and Registered Investment Advisor Representative’s.
At KOM Wealth Management Group we provide customized strategies and work primarily with individuals and families seeking advice on managing their financial resources. Our clients benefit from personalized service in the areas of investment, tax, wealth accumulation, education, retirement, estate, and insurance planning.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct all incoming phone calls in a professional and friendly manner.
- Schedule/Reschedule client appointments.
- Complete client appointment confirmations via phone call, secure text and/or mail.
- Greet incoming clients in a welcoming and professional manner; build and nurture the client relationship.
- Handle incoming client documents; scan, rename and save accordingly.
- Assist in preparing client appointment documentation.
- Document key client milestones and/or important data into systems that will assist in future client interactions.
- Open, review and distribute incoming mail and prepare all outgoing mail correspondence.
- Prepare all outgoing faxes and secure emails.
- Assist clients in utilizing our secure online portal and secure text messaging platform.
- Monitor and initiate action on daily assigned tasks.
- Maintain risk awareness and compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Support the firm’s mission and initiatives, assisting in company-wide projects and activities.
- Responsible for maintaining general office spaces including, but not limited to the following:
- Stocking beverage centers
- Maintaining conference room cleanliness
- Ordering office supplies
- Kitchen cleanliness
- Other responsibilities as assigned by manager.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of industry/administrative/customer service work experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities could be acquired.
- Exceptional client service skills.
- Must be computer literate and proficient with Windows, Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Able to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and work with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
- Critical thinking, attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills required.
- Position requires a high level of confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment is required.
- Ability to lift 25-35 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
