Receptionist at a London Consultancy Firm

The front-facing receptionist must be highly personable and an outgoing representative to provide a welcoming reception service for the group of companies the Consultancy serves.

The right person will be experienced with Excel as it is an essential part of the role, which will involve spreadsheets and formulas.

[Main Responsibilities]

  • Assisting staff members and customers for seamless business operations
  • Responding to incoming enquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintaining the office environment, scheduling appointments, and research
  • Supporting senior management with correspondence, diary management for travel meetings, appointments, and bookings
  • Bookkeeping, making payment, and budget calculation for office management (training will be provided)
  • Health and safety administration and coordination (training will be provided)

[Requirements]

  • English at a native level and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Up to 30 minutes commuting time or the ability to come to the office on time in the event of strikes/delays.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a related area.
  • Experience in basic Excel formulas and creating PivotTables
  • The ability to handle even small pieces of data with accuracy and focus
  • The ability to research and an aptitude for helping team members
  • Positive and enthusiastic team-player in a multi-tasking environment
  • Understanding of Japanese business culture preferred

Work permit visa holders are also welcome to apply, with the availability of working for longer than two years preferred. This role, however, unfortunately does NOT suit students.

[Basic working hours] Monday-Friday, 8:30-17:30 *Working hours can be flexible.

[Employment status] Full-time

[Start date] From July/August 2023 onwards.
