Salary £32,020 - £36,298 l Fixed term until 31/03/2025 l Part-time, 18.5 hours per week
Core Purpose of the Job:
The primary purpose of this job is to support the Forest of Bowland AONB Partnership and Farming in Protected Landscapes (FiPL) Local Assessment Panel in its delivery of the FiPL programme and the wider objectives of the statutory Forest of Bowland AONB Management Plan.
Core Tasks:
- To provide a first point of contact for potential applicants to the FiPL programme and offer support to applicants to bring project applications to the FiPL Local Assessment Panel. Where necessary, this may also involve helping guide subsequent delivery of funded projects.
- To assist in the monitoring of project progress to ensure timely completion of annual expenditure and outputs by grant agreement holders.
- To assist with project and programme level reporting and support overall national programme evaluation, including quarterly and annual reporting to Defra.
- To pro-actively foster collaborative working with- and between farmers and land managers, statutory bodies, local communities and interest groups in order to bring forward innovative projects to deliver the FiPL programme outcomes of Nature, Climate, People and Place.
- Any other duties, as required to support the delivery of the FiPL programme.
