Responsibilities:
Open and close the front office
- Greet all customers to the facility; ascertain their needs and direct accordingly
- Maintain a courteous and professional attitude with customers and coworkers
- Talk with customers, by phone or in person to obtain information needed to complete tasks
- Answer all inquiries from customers promptly
- Confer with other staff members to obtain additional information and clarification needed to resolve customer concerns
- Confirms and processes visit compensation according to procedure
- Distributes Marta cards per facility guidelines
- Assist with the coordination of the client transportation schedule, including scheduling outside vendor rides
- Call or fax prescriptions to various pharmacies as directed
- Keep reception/lobby area clean and organized; conduct daily walkthroughs of front entrance and lobby
- Facilitate delivery process
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Experience/Skills:
- High school diploma or GED required
- EXPERIENCE – At least one year of customer service and administrative experience required; Relevant education may substitute experience requirement.
- CERTIFICATE/LICENSE – CPR training provided
Working Conditions
Standard operating hours are Monday through Friday, with a shift either 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. May be required to complete job-related tasks outside of that time frame, in excess of a standard 40-hour work week. Requires prolonged walking, standing, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports. Requires occasional lifting of boxes up to 50 pounds. Work is performed in a medical office environment and includes exposure to blood-born pathogens and bio-hazardous materials. This role requires the ability to work with a broad range of personalities, situations and psychiatric disorders; therefore, candidates must possess the ability to resolve conflicts immediately and diffuse potentially escalating events before they occur.
