Trainee Painter
The Trainee Painter of LNS Turbo UK Ltd will be responsible for the preparation of company products prior to being painted. You will undertake training from highly experienced paint specialists, initially learning correct preparation techniques and supporting the efficient processes within the team before training to become a skilled painter.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Plan and perform preparation on machined parts to high standards.
2. Surface preparation, such as sanding and grinding rough finishes, filling and finishing rough or irregular surfaces and washing parts clean with solvents, priming and painting.
3. Mask parts as necessary to prepare for painting, being aware of special requirements.
4. Maintain a clean and orderly work area, exercising care of both equipment and materials.
5. Maintain clear and precise documentation in accordance with company procedures.
6. Undertake training to mix paints and be familiar with spray paint operation to achieve best finishes.
7. Undertake training to become a skilled painter, becoming aware of and able to produce different paint finishes for specific customers.
Working Arrangements:
LNS Turbo UK Ltd operate a three shift system of days (6am to 2pm), afters (2pm-10pm), and nights (10pm to 6am).
