Location: Fitzrovia, Central London

Hours: Monday- Friday, 37hrs

Salary: Competitive

Introduction:

InHealth Upright MRI is the largest established operator of upright and open MRI technology in the United Kingdom. We were the first provider to offer this alternative form of medical imaging to the general public which allows claustrophobic patients to undergo the scans they require. Right now, we are looking for a Booking Coordinator to join our InHealth Upright MRI Centre in London and be part of this exciting innovative team.

We are looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our CDC in Central London. Our office is located on Newman Street and is easily accessed by many tube stations including Goodge Street, Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Circus.

As a Medical Receptionist you will:

Act as the first point of contact for all incoming calls and visitors. You will be responsible for greeting patients in a calming manor to ensure they are at ease and comfortable whilst simultaneously making sure all patient data is recorded diligently.

In addition to this you will also be responsible for:

  • Greeting patients in an empathetic and professional manner and ensuring their arrival is correctly recorded on the patient administration system
  • Answering the reception telephone in a professional manner ensuring all issues/messages are escalated to the manager or appropriate person
  • Recording accurate confidential notes on the inhouse systems for each referral, ensuring any
  • Assist with monthly reports
  • Complying with ISO standards
  • Ensuring payments are invoiced promptly and correctly.
  • Ensuring that patient reports are sent out to referring clinician in a timely fashion
  • Independently prioritising and managing your own workload to ensure an efficient service is provided, being flexible and adaptable to change
  • Assisting the Radiographers and clinical staff as and when required, both with patients and equipment faults
  • Ensuring that stock is ordered and correct levels are maintained

We want to hear from individuals that:

  • Have experience of working on a reception desk or a fast paced administrative role.
  • Being in a patient or customer facing environment
  • Experience in a Healthcare environment would be desirable but not essential.
  • Knowledge and experience of using Microsoft and other IT packages.
  • Understand the implications of the Data Protection Act, Caldicott Principles and GDPR
  • Working independently and as part of a wider team.
