We’re always keen to make a great first impression here at GXO, and one of the most visible roles where we can make first impressions count is the front desk at our UK Head Office.
We are currently looking for a Receptionist to join us at our Head Office in Northampton to provide a professional customer service experience to both visitors and employees alike. This is a permanent part-time position where you’ll be working Monday - Friday, covering either the morning shift (08:00 - 13:00) or the afternoon shift (12:30 - 17:30).
Pay, benefits and more:
We’re looking to offer a salary of £13,550 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:
Greet guests and issue/collect visitor passes as appropriate for each company at Lancaster HouseDirect visitors and colleagues around Lancaster House and keep the reception diary updated
Ensure all contact lists and email groups are updated, as well as distributing email announcements to appropriate audiences as and when needed
Take phone calls and transfer as appropriate, taking messages if required, along with managing incoming and outgoing post/deliveries/couriers
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Experience in a customer facing role, past Receptionist experience is preferredGreat interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with customers and colleagues at all levels
Understanding of Microsoft software, in particular Word and Excel
Basic knowledge of Health & Safety procedures
