Job description

We are looking for a Part Time Front Desk Receptionist to join our Office team in Central London, working 2 days minimum each week (Saturdays and Sundays). You will also have the opportunity to cover some day and evening shifts in the week, when needed.

The Role:

  • Daily checks of the building.
  • Liaising with colleagues and management via phone and email.
  • Keeping up to date with personal and office emails.
  • Carry out all duties in accordance with the office policies, fire and Health and Safety requirements.
  • Participate and contribute to office meetings.
  • Liaising with team to ensure the building is maintained to a high standard.
  • Maintaining and keeping up to date with cleaning and office equipment.
  • Ordering supplies and groceries for the office.
  • Booking transport for staff/clients.
  • Providing excellent service to clients/guests by answering phone calls, emails and greeting guests upon arrival.
  • Assisting in maintaining a professional front desk and reception area.
  • Assisting in administrative tasks including filing, and employee folder maintenance.
  • Create excellent experience for guests through friendly and helpful attitude.
  • Help maintain cleanliness of rooms, common areas and store room(s).

Requirements of the role:

  • Fluent level of the English language, both written and verbal
  • This role will be suited to someone who has a quiet manner who enjoys reading and enjoys working in a quiet environment.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and telephone manner.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft MS (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Customer service experience.
  • Ability to communicate confidently with individuals of all levels, including senior staff and VIPs.
  • Must have flexibility with days/hours.
  • Excellent grooming and presentation.
  • Team player who communicates well with all colleagues.
  • Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy.
  • Ability to remain calm and assured in the face of an emergency.
  • DBS check required once successful.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in working in a high-profile environment.
  • Adaptable/Transferrable skills.
  • Ability to travel when needed/flexible.
  • Driving license.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Interviews are likely to be held from 10th July 2023.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary: £12.50-£14.50 per hour
