Job description
Job Purpose:
Answering phone calls, letters, and emails and/or directing these communications to the correct department/staff person. Welcoming clients and visitors to the Sunderland office and dealing with their queries.
Receptionist Job Duties:
· Taking and directing calls, through a switchboard (including all overflow calls from other offices)
· Completing administrative tasks like electronic filing (Receiving, Forwarding & Attaching secure emails to correct files)
· Responding to standard emails (Section 9’s/IDPC requests etc)
· Opening, scanning and distributing post on a morning
· Printing/enveloping/franking post for all offices and taking mail to post box
· Scanning & attaching all paperwork onto the files from Solicitors
· Organising and maintaining the reception area
· Keeping track of basic office supplies/ordering supplies
· Signing in visitors
· Greeting visitors to the facility warmly and handling face to face enquiries
· Providing customer support
· Answering questions about services offered, office hours and who is in the office at any given time
· Scheduling appointments
· Maintaining front door security and reporting any suspicious activity
· Putting through sales/payments for representation
· Representing the business with a positive attitude and professional appearance
Receptionist Skills and Qualifications:
A friendly and approachable individual who is organised and helpful. They must be capable of using their own initiative to support the needs of the business, who can also multi-task to efficiently move swiftly between different aspects of the job requirements.
Wage to be discussed (dependent on experience)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £5.28-£10.42 per hour
