Job description
Full Time 8 a.m.- 8 p.m./rotating weekends
The Receptionist manages and coordinates a variety of activities associated with the first introduction of our hospital to visiting outside individuals. Will be tasked with a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, answering telephones, route and screen calls, greet outside individuals, respond to inquires from the public and provide information about the organization. Receptionists contribute to the security of an organization by helping to monitor the access of visitors.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Customer Service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment
- Ability to project a professional image
- Working knowledge of personal computer and software applications used in job functions (Excel, Word processing, databases, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Persons who have been found guilty by a court of law of abusing, neglecting, or mistreating individuals in a health care related setting are ineligible for employment in this position
- Freedom from illegal use of drugs
- Freedom from use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience preferred
