We're currently recruiting maternity cover for one year for our friendly Reception to provide first-class service for our corporate client in the Farnborough area.
As a receptionist, you will work in a welcoming team to ensure that all staff and visitors are greeted and dealt with in a warm and efficient manner, work efficiently to maximise customer satisfaction and maintain standards of operation.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming visitors and ensuring a seamless and personal guest journey
- Acting upon all requests that visitors might have in an efficient, friendly and timely manner
- Handling external/internal calls and emails in a professional manner
- Liaising with other departments to ensure efficient communication and guest service, and creating a 'one team' approach to delighting your visitors
- Security management of programming passes for visitors
- Working on the Facilities help desk logging tickets for any issues, answering emails and booking meeting rooms
- Carry out reception duties in line with the checklists, ensuring these are completed and signed off daily.
- To be fully aware of the Accident Reporting Procedure, Maintenance Fault Procedure and Fire Policy.
- Co-ordinate all hospitality bookings with catering and admin teams.
- To ensure the accuracy of all information and respect its confidentiality.
- Carry out any other duties as reasonably requested by your management team.
- Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.

Our ideal Receptionist will:
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possess fantastic organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Be competent in using PCs, Microsoft Office, and general office equipment
- Display passion for delivering excellent customer service
- Be an excellent team player
- Have the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships
- Demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability
- Experience in corporate hospitality an advantage.
