About us
Churchview Vets is a well-established, RCVS accredited, 100% small animal practice in a great location on the Wirral, where you are close to both city and countryside. We pride ourselves on offering exemplary customer service for our loyal client base and are strong believers in preventative healthcare. The practice is small in structure, but we are busy, and every day is truly varied.
We are currently expanding our Heswall practice into the next-door building. This will enable us to develop the services we offer to our wonderful clients, as well as allowing our team to flourish and further their interests.
The team at Churchview Vets together form a friendly and dedicated group, committed to the provision of excellent service for our patients and clients.
The Role
We would consider full/part time/job share for the right candidate. Shift hours are between 8am-6.30pm Monday-Friday. Some Saturday mornings may be included.
Administrative and reception duties to include:
- Booking, cancelling and changing appointments
- All aspects of telephony within the practice
- Receiving cash/card payments
- Handle insurance claims and instalment queries
- Deal with cash exchanges and end of day cashing up
- Attend team meetings as and when requested
- Monitor and process online prescription orders
- Keep client/patient records up to date
- Check clinic emails and process appropriately
- Ensure all daily paperwork completed
- Ensure counter sale products are well stocked and rotated
- Maintain stock levels on a daily basis (food or special orders for the surgery or clients)
- Non-clinical area cleaning
- All messages to be recorded legibly and in full, including pet and client's name, address, contact number and query, and passed on to the relevant person via a task or message.
- Fill out consent forms ready for next day surgeries
- Fill out paperwork for Pet Healthcare Plan/4 week free insurance
- Any other duties requested by Line Manager, Clinical Director, Practice Manager, Associate Vets and Support Staff
The successful candidate will receive in return:
