An opportunity has arisen to recruit a Receptionist/Administrator within Chalkhill Family Practice in Wembley Park HA9 3 days a week from 12.30pm to 6.30pm. We are looking for a motivated with administration experience applicant to add to our friendly Reception and Administration team.
You are expected to be IT literate; knowledge of EMIS Web would also be desirable. You will be working as part of the reception team contributing to the smooth running of the practice. As well as a patient-facing role, you will be required to do some back office tasks. This role is for a minimum of 30 hours per week; Monday to Friday with a mix of afternoon and morning shifts.
The right candidate will be expected to be flexible in order to cover for holidays and sickness and be able to cope with multi -tasking and dealing with patients both face to face and over the telephone. Have a positive can do attitude, as well as being an excellent team player.
The following are the core responsibilities of the receptionist/administrator. There may be a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels:
Maintaining and monitoring the practice appointment system. Process personal, telephone and e-requests for appointments. Answer incoming phone calls, transferring calls or dealing with the callers request appropriately. Signpost patients to the correct service. Process incoming and outgoing mail. Initiating contact with and responding to, requests from patients, team members and external agencies.
