As a Receptionist at Cedar Vets, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their Animals. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that every client receives excellent customer service and assistance. Your exceptional communication skills and ability to multitask will be key to your success in this role.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome clients and their pets with a warm and friendly demeanour.
Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar efficiently.
Provide accurate and helpful information to clients regarding our services, procedures, and policies.
Maintain and update client records, ensuring that all information is accurate and complete.
Assist veterinary staff with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and inventory management.
Process payments and handle financial transactions in an organised and secure manner.
Manage client inquiries and requests effectively, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
Ensure the reception area is clean, organised, and well-presented at all times.
Collaborate with the veterinary team to provide seamless and efficient service to clients and their pets.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role is preferred.
A genuine love for animals and a passion for providing excellent care and service.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with the capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in using computer systems and software for scheduling, record-keeping, and basic administrative tasks.
A strong teamwork ethic and ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends on a rotational basis across the Alton, Four Marks and Alresford practices.
