Experienced Veterinary Receptionist required for a busy veterinary Practice in Wolverhampton.
Cavan Vets looking for a Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and enjoy building relationships with clients. The receptionist will act as the first point of contact for all of our clients, answering phones, greeting clients, and handling any requests that come through the front desk. This position requires a flexible schedule that can be filled from Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 7pm with saturdays on a rota basis. The hours are on a shift pattern.
The ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude and good energy. This position requires a quick thinking and problem-solving skills. The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment is essential. A willingness to learn about client needs and provide excellent customer service is also required. The receptionist will work closely with the veterinarian and staff members on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting patients, checking in patients, answering phones, etc...
- Answering phones in a friendly manner and directing calls to appropriate parties.
- Scheduling appointments for clients as needed.
- Answering questions from clients regarding procedures, medications, etc...
- Documenting all patient interactions in our medical record system.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service or other related fields preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with excellent multitasking skills.
