A busy and varied front-of-house opportunity in our Scandinavian styled, newly refurbished office and showroom environment. Located in the heart of Shoreditch and home to 50+ colleagues.
We are a Scandinavian, global, family-owned fashion company looking for a highly motivated candidate who enjoys taking initiative and ownership and is comfortable working with a degree of autonomy. Essential to the role is someone with strong communication skills and a good level of attention to detail, as well as someone who enjoys planning, being organised and bringing their personality and ways of working into the role.
The role is supported by an experienced Team Manager and sits commercially within the Business Development department.
THE ROLE
- Monday (0830-1700) to Friday (0830-1430)
- First point of contact for both guests and colleagues
- Responsibility for our in-house hospitality – both daily showroom service and wider events
- Responsibility for our storeroom standards, which houses all our current fashion collections
- Responsibility for our daily deliveries (usually samples) and coordination of vans to and from our off-site warehouse
- Ownership for overcoming issues affecting service standards
- Management of employee sample sales
- Management of post
- Management of our reception inbox
- Managing a daily rhythm of activities
- Implementing daily Health & Safety checks – full training provided through our PEOPLE team
- Being part of our fire warden team– full training provided through our PEOPLE team
- Closely liaising with our on-site housekeeping colleagues
- Closely working with our Office Manager, who is located with you at the large two-seater reception desk
