Beacon Academy is situated in Loughborough, with approximately 395 children on roll including a Moderate Learning Difficulty (MLD) resource unit and a Nursery. Staff and families are working enthusiastically with the new leadership, as it has vision, integrity and rigour. Beacon has a huge potential and a commitment to rapid improvement. This position will be a highly rewarding role with the potential to make a significant and sustained impact on our school and community in which it sits.
We are looking for a customer focussed Receptionist to provide a professional and comprehensive reception service and administrative support to the Academy. You will be a committed and hardworking team player who will support the pupils, staff and parents in continuing to raise the profile and ongoing success of the department and, more widely, the Academy.
The successful candidate will need to:
- Have a high standard of written English and have the ability to write clear and concise reports, letters and messages
- Have experience of an office environment and ideally have experience of working with young people
- Have GCSE Maths and English at a good standard.
