The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our professional, friendly and supportive team here at Animates Veterinary Clinic, Thurlby and Market Deeping.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, caring and organised individual to joint our front of house team, both full and part time roles will be considered.
The role will be a mixture of Reception and Veterinary Care Assistant duties however we will also consider candidates who would prefer 100% Reception.
Duties include but not limited to
Answering phones, responding to emails and queries, arranging appointments, taking payments, administration, dispensing medications, animal handling (for example assisting vets and nurses in restraining animals for treatment) processing lab samples and maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
Applicant Requirements
Our ideal candidate will be someone who is keen to be part of the whole animal and client care experience with a focus on providing a warm and welcoming environment. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task under pressure while remaining a team player is also vital. Some experience of handling animals is preferred, although training will be provided. IT competence is also required.
Full training will be given to the successful candidate, previous experience of working in a veterinary practice is not necessary.

Schedule
- Main contracted hours Monday to Friday
- Additional weekend rota, currently 1:3 Saturdays, decreasing to 1:4 from October
Salary
The salary for this position will be in line with National Minimum wage
