Customer Service Advisor – Newmarket Leisure Centre
Our customer service advisors are the first point of contact for visitors and members into our leisure centres. You will be responsible for taking bookings, membership sales and general centre enquiries both face-to-face and over the phone. As part of the role, you will carry out centre tours along with ensuring all visitors and members are provided with an excellent customer journey.
15.5 hours per week
Wk 1 Mon 16:30-20:00 Weds09:00-12:30 Thurs 16:30-20:00 Fri 09:00-14:00
Wk 2 Mon 16:30-20:00 Weds16:30-20:00 Thurs 09:00-13:00 Fri 15:30-20:00
Hourly rate is dependent on your age and is between £8.46 and £10.42
We are looking for someone who loves helping customers and wants to deliver exceptional customer service. You will have a flexible approach to a very busy and varied working environment yet be able to be focused on helping every customer that you deal with. You will need to have good organisational skills, be methodical towards administrative tasks and equally happy with being a team player or working on your own initiative.
An Enhanced DBS check with Barring list is required for this role
There are no qualifications required for the role although customer service experience is desired.

About Newmarket Leisure Centre
Newmarket Leisure Centre was upgraded in 2020 as part of a £1.8m investment to provide new facilities for the town. The new facilities included our first dedicated E-gym, a new soft play and party area, a new café, and new studio and gym space. The centre also has two pools, a sports hall and fitness studios. The centre offers swimming, gym, fitness classes, swimming lessons, health, and wellbeing classes plus a range of community programmes.
