Your role and responsibilities as Receptionist and Administration AssistantReception
- Based at our Head Office in Penrith, you will provide front of house support for all business support functions
- The role will offer you a variety of responsibilities including, managing the reception area, welcoming our visitors and employees and being the first point of contact for email and telephone enquiries
- You will liaise closely with all departments, ensuring that information and correspondence is passed on efficiently
- You will organise meetings, book meeting rooms, and ensure that refreshments are provided for training and other events
- Your role will involve managing stationary orders, filing documents, and maintaining necessary records.
- You will support our Facilities Officer in providing support to our Home Managers. This includes, organising maintenance works, vehicle fleet management, organising vehicle repairs, and driving vehicles for planned services and MOTs
- You will support the Facilities Officer with the procurement of items required for our homes and services.
- Excellent IT skills and proficient in Microsoft packages
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organisational skills and ability to manage your own time
- A good understanding of handling confidential data
- A motivational can-do attitude and ability to support the development of a positive organisational culture
- A full, UK driving licence.
- Experience of working within a fast-paced office environment in a similar role
- Qualifications in business administration or similar
- Your salary: up to £21,400
- Your hours of work: 37.5 hours per week. A degree of flexibility can be considered in line with your availability throughout the working week.
