We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Receptionist who has a strong sense of initiative and an excellent team working ability. We are a community service for both older people with mental health needs, which are complicated by age related needs, and for people, of all ages, who have needs related to Dementia. We also provide support and advice to professionals, care homes and carers. Our service focuses on both functional and organic mental health disorders. We provide comprehensive multi-disciplinary services and work closely with local specialist mental health teams, tertiary service providers, primary care, local statutory and non-statutory agencies, service users & carers. Our team comprises consultant psychiatrists, community psychiatric nurses, occupational therapists, psychologists, support workers, Admiral nurses and administrative staff. JOB PURPOSE: To provide reception services/meet and greet at Britton House for all services within the building such as (Community Mental Health Service for Older People (CMHSOP), Community Mental Health Team for Younger Adults (CMHT). To provide administrative support to the Community Mental Health Service for Older People. To work effectively ensuring that patients referred for assessment experience a smooth pathway through the referral, diagnosis and treatment process. To carry out administrative tasks (see Key Results Areas section below). To contribute to the planning and implementation of new processes. To provide a strong level of customer service and patient care when assisting with queries. To provide a strong level of customer service when dealing with all patients, family, carers, external services and visitors at reception. Dealing with queries at reception from patients/family/visitors/general public. Booking clients in for their appointments upon arrival. Liaising with engineers and estates colleagues when arriving to complete building repairs/call outs. Assisting clinical team with room booking queries and booking rooms and managing room booking system.
