The Reception & Access Control Administrator contributes to JLR’s Purpose and Vision of Modern Luxury by ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for our Employees, Visitors, Customers and Partners across a select number of UK based Manufacturing and Non-Manufacturing sites.
The Reception & Access Control Administrator will be, as part of CS&BP, required to carry out pre-defined tasks and functions as well as maintaining an 'added value' approach to the work and JLR.
The Receptionist & Access Control Administrator will be Solihull based and required to be fully mobile - flexible across all JLR Midland based company sites (as determined by the business) during the course of employment and will require flexibility on the day to meet operational requirements.
Operation hours vary across sites; therefore, flexibility is required ensuring all Reception & Access Control services are covered when working at the site you are covering, additional hours are required when covering other sites.
As the Reception-Access Control Admin you’ll be responsible for:
To live the JLR Creator Codes and provide a service which exudes Modern Luxury, providing a seamless service, representing both CS&BP and JLR.
- To be an integral part of the Reception & Access Control Team, working closely with site-based stakeholders
- Employees, Visitors and Customers are welcomed and greeted with fairness
- Ensure all visitors are booked in on the JLR Visitor Booking System and met by and managed until departure by their Host
- Ensure all Employees, Visitors and Customers are familiar with the Site rules and safety behaviours
- Ensure a deep knowledge of the JLR Manufacturing and Non-Manufacturing sites in order to help Customers understand the broad operation of JLR across our UK Sites.
- Answering calls from internal and external Customers through the Switchboard
- The ability to react in an agile manner to business requirements
- Issuing Visitor badges
- Checking ID
- Processing vehicle passes and adding to database
- To fulfil and carry out the monthly On-boarding process
- Fire Marshall. To be responsible for evacuation, in cases of emergency, acting as first point of contact for guests in the Reception Area
- Maintains safe and clean Reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Will document and maintain working practices in line with the JLR Way
- Managing the Issuing of ID cards, programming, assigning of access, review and de-activation of ID cards in accordance with the JLR Access Control Policy to ensure the protection of JLR Assets and Intellectual Property
- To fulfil the On/Off-boarding process
- Running Access Control Reports
- Drive a Continuous Improvement approach within the Reception and Access Control Team
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Customer Service/Hospitality background- Conflict Resolution or similar
- Excellent Team working - HPT
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Administration/IT – Filing, MS-O365 applications
- Switchboard/Telephony Skills
