Job description

True Meridian is seeking a Shipper/receiver to join our team! As the Shipper/receiver, you will be responsible for ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently, as well as coordinating shipments and deliveries. You will play a vital role in the success of our company by ensuring our products are delivered to our customers on time and in excellent condition. This position requires the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify that the correct products and quantities have been received
• Process outgoing orders accurately and efficiently
• Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure timely deliveries and efficient use of storage space
• Keep track of inventory levels, including conducting regular inventory counts
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Use computer software to create and print shipping labels and invoices
• Communicate with customers and vendors to resolve any issues that arise during the shipping process

Requirements

• Experience working in a shipping or receiving role
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and packages, up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of shipping software and computer programs
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
