We are London’s most iconic Italian delicatessen and restaurant located across London. First opened in 1944, Lina Stores is known for its fresh, handmade pasta, meats, cheeses, antipasti and many more products are all imported from Italy! Guests can enjoy our Italian dishes in our restaurant and take away the ingredients from our deli to recreate their Italian feast at home. We also have an online shop which allows customers to order online quickly and easily with seamless deliveries straight to their front door. All of this of course requires preparation, which is all done in our very own Lina Cucina in Peckham, where we develop our high-quality Italian recipes.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Goods Receiver, you will work in our development kitchen Lina Cucina in Peckham. You will be responsible to check that the delivery coming into our Lina Cucina has been properly ordered and that it is of an acceptable condition before it is passed onto the storeroom or fridges. This includes:
Making sure merchandise entering the premises is supported by proper documentation.
Examine the quality, quantity or weight and temperature.
Forward the goods to the storerooms and organize the fridges and the warehouse shelves.
You will also support the packing department when the delivery is completed.
As a food production packer, you will (with precision) portion, measure, and pack our offering. You will be responsible for operating equipment, using knives and vac-packing with efficiency. Alongside ensuring quality control, receiving deliveries, conducting stock counts, and labelling and sealing all products to the desired standard.
YOU ARE
Focused and proactive, a great communicator with a good level of English. You have previous experience as a goods receiver, you are organised and efficient, detail-orientated, and computer proficient and you are ready to learn new skills and embody our Lina Stores values ensuring quality is always delivered. You are flexible with your availability, punctual and always respectful.

Lina Stores Clapham, set to open in June 2023, overlooks the Common on the corner of The Pavement and Bromwell’s Road. Open for lunch and dinner for antipasti, fresh pasta and dolci during the weekend, Lina Stores Clapham also serves breakfast at the weekends.
