CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Trainee
The Cottages at Garden Grove is looking for motivated individuals who would like to be attend a paid CNA training class starting July 10th. The Cottages at Garden Grove is set on a lovely campus in Cicero, NY and is made up of 12 small-home residences. This model of small-homes sets a new standard for skilled nursing and short-term rehab in CNY. These homes come complete with a sense of neighborhood and welcoming atmosphere that will make everyone who resides and works here feel at home.
Trainees will attend both classroom and clinical at the Cottages at Garden Grove and after completion of the class and sucessful state examination, will become a Full Time CNA.
Tasks:
- Assist residents with performing basic tasks such as eating, dressing and toileting when necessary
- Respond immediately to calls from patients for assistance or treatment and alert medical staff to pending emergency situations
- Assist in scheduled activities for residents
- Engage in housekeeping tasks such as replacing linens on beds, cleaning patient rooms and removing and replacing trash bags
- Assist in meal preparation for residents
