Role Overview
This is a great opportunity for a talented and ambitious real estate expert with an interest in technology to shape strategy and implement deliveries of digital initiatives supporting market teams across the Savills UK business.
The ‘Insight & Data’ department require a new team member to help it keep pace with the expanding requirements for digital initiatives across the Savills business.
The successful applicant will primarily leverage their existing knowledge of real estate, real estate services and their opinion on the potential efficiency and/or monetisable opportunities associated with deploying a variety of technology solutions tailored to compliment the working practices of Savills teams.
The applicant will have an interest in new technologies, drivers of value within Real Estate advisory, with an ability to self-teach and also to communicate their knowledge to others. They must have confidence in engaging with a variety of stakeholders.
This role is based in our Head Office in Margaret Street, London and sits within the ‘Insight & Data’ department.
Key Responsibilities
Becoming a central point of contact for support, training and adoption of a significant knowledge sharing software application for the Savills business- Identifying opportunities within the business to leverage technology to enhance performance of Savills service lines
- Interrogating various datasets for value and to give consideration to its utility to the wider Savills business
- Offering pitch support where client requirements are of a data intensive nature
- Working with a team of technical staff to take requirements from the business and crafting them into value creating software applications
Key Skills
Previous experience in real estate (MRICS accreditation is a bonus)- Interest in technology and its utility in real estate advisory (experience is a bonus)
- Ability to engage with stakeholders to understand their business challenges
- Competence in understanding the value of data in support of service lines
